Song of Aphrodite Lunula
Hand forged from Argentium silver, this dramatic Lunula is set with a lavish aquamarine and crowned with a speckled moonstone, honoring the oceanborn goddess of love and beauty. Argentium is a tarnish-resistant form of sterling silver that is 100% recycled. Finished length is 18" with 1" of adjustable chain.
The crescent motif necklace is one of our favorite designs. We've named this style of necklace "Lunula" after the crescent shaped torcs forged in bronze age Ireland.
Aquamarine is the traditional birthstone for the month of March, as well as for the astrological sign of Pisces. It is calming, soothing, and cleansing, and inspires truth, trust and letting go. In ancient lore, Aquamarine was believed to be the treasure of mermaids, and was used by sailors as a talisman of good luck, fearlessness and protection. It was also considered a stone of eternal youth and happiness. Aquamarine is most powerful as a meditation stone, as it brings a great peace and serenity.
