Emerald and Agate Triskele Pendant
This magical Celtic triskele (triple spiral) motif rests on a luminous green agate cabochon, topped with a sparkling 3mm emerald. The necklace is hand forged in Argentium silver (a tarnish-resistant form of sterling silver that is 100% recycled) and adorned with granules along the bottom edge of the agate.
The triskele pendant measures about 2.25" long and hangs on an 18" rope chain with 1" of adjustable chain. The necklace is finished with a hand forged hook and ring closure.
Long considered a symbol of hope and renewal, the mystique of the emerald is said to be strongest in spring, hence its status as the birthstone of May. It is also the stone associated with the 20th wedding anniversary. The emerald is the sacred stone of the goddess Venus and was thought to preserve love and fidelity. Sometimes called the “stone of successful Love,” Emerald opens and nurtures the heart and the heart chakra. Its soothing energy provides healing to all levels of the being, bringing freshness and vitality to the spirit. Emerald is also a stone of vision and intuition, associated with the eyes and sight, long believed to foretell future events and reveal one’s truths. It is considered by many to be a stone of prophecy.
Agate is a stone of gentle strength and stability. Its many layers create a visual impression of delicateness, but in fact are what give it its inherent strength. Agate is said to harmonize yin and yang energy, creating balance and stability in the physical and emotional bodies. Its slow and steady energy make it an excellent aid in building confidence, inner resolve, and the ability to follow one's purpose.
